Dear Business Owner,
We are inviting you to join/renew in our Merchant Flag Display Program. This program provides that the American Legion Orville Jackson Post No. 127, Eagle Idaho will display the American Flag at your place of business on the 11 major flag days during the year (except during inclement weather).
The dates for 2020 are:
Martin Luther King’s Birthday January 20th
Presidents Day February 17th
National Vietnam War Memorial Day March 29th
Memorial Day May 25th
Flag Day June 14th
Independence Day July 4th
Saturday of Eagle Fun Days (Eagle Merchants Only) TBD
Labor Day September 7th
Patriots Day September 11th
Veteran’s Day November 11th
Pearl Harbor Day December 7th
Orville Jackson Post No. 127 will display and remove the American Flag at your place of business on the days noted above. We ask that you and your employees do not remove the flag. Our members will be fully responsible for its removal and storage. If the flag is stolen, we accept full responsibility of the flag, not you.
Your donation helps the American Legion serve our Community and Veterans through a variety of programs including: High School Oratorical Contests, Scholarships, Firearm Safety in Education, Boys State, The American Flag appreciation programs in area schools, Wreaths Across America, and The American Legion baseball teams at Eagle High School to mention a few.
The tax-deductible fee for this annual service is only $35 per flag. A tax receipt will be emailed to you after payment has been received.

This Merchant American Flag Display Program Authorization Form will automatically continue a yearly basis unless discontinued in writing by the authorizing person or qualified agent of your business or if you fail to pay your bill for the upcoming year. If your business is sold or a new management assumes control of your business, this authorization form and flag display to your business will cease immediately until a new authorization form is signed by a qualified agent of the new business or new management. All monies paid are tax deductible and non-refundable. The money is used to help support various programs within the American Legion.
The American Legion Orville Jackson Post No. 127. Assumes all cost involved for the installation of the permanent bracket, placement, removal and possible loss of the American Flag placed at your business, and no liability is assumed by your business. Please do not remove the flag from its bracket as the Orville Jackson Post No. 127 members place, remove, and store the American flag.
